| Obverse description | The obverse displays a bold Persian-script legend in Nasta'liq calligraphy arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line across the flan. The upper register bears the royal titulature of the Mughal emperor Akbar II, while the lower register contains additional regnal or honorific inscriptions. The field is plain and unornamented, with the bold, deeply struck lettering characteristic of hammered Jaipur coinage of this period. A rudimentary beaded border partially encircles the inscribed field. |
