Reverse description Hammered reverse displaying a bold Persian inscription in Naskh script arranged in horizontal registers across the field. The legend records the mint name Burhanpur and the Persian solar calendar month Khurdad, following the standard Akbar-period format of citing both mint and regnal month to facilitate dating and attribution. The irregular flan and slightly uneven strike are consistent with hammered coinage produced at the Burhanpur mint during the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries.
Reverse script Arabic
