Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line Persian inscription in Nastaliq script divided by a horizontal line, reading the royal titles and name of Ahmad Shah Bahadur. The upper register contains 'Ahmad Shah Bahadur' and the lower register displays the regnal epithet 'Badshah Ghazi', with the AH date incorporated into the legend. The coin is struck on an irregularly shaped flan typical of Mughal hammered coinage, with the inscription filling the full field to the periphery.
