Reverse description A finely detailed Triton conch shell (Charonia tritonis) is depicted in high relief at the center of the field, rendered with naturalistic precision to highlight its distinctive spiral ridging and textured surface. A sprig of foliage, suggestive of local flora, appears to the lower left of the shell. The numeral 1 is incused to the right of the shell motif. The denomination legend RUPEE is inscribed in bold capital letters along the lower portion of the field, with ample flat ground surrounding the central device.
