Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in Nastaliq script arranged within two registers separated by a raised horizontal line. The upper register records the mint name and regnal year 19 of Shah Alam II, while the lower register bears the mint epithet 'Murshidabad'. Ornamental dot clusters punctuate the field in a manner consistent with Bengal Presidency coinage of this period, and the engrailed edge is visible at the coin's periphery.
