| Reverse description | A crowned shield bearing the arms of Narva — consisting of crossed or stacked swords and a fish — occupies the central field. The date is divided on either side of the shield, with the denomination numeral '1' and the letter 'R' (for Rundstück) also separated by the shield. The mint-master's mark 'LN' (for Levin Numens) appears in the field, either divided by or placed beneath the shield depending on the die variety. The entire composition is presented without a ribbon, distinguishing this type from related issues. The legend elements are distributed across the field in the characteristic style of small provincial Swedish hammered coinage. |
