| Reverse description | Central field bears the arms of the city of Reval: a shield displaying three walking lions passant, arranged vertically, derived from the arms of Denmark under whose influence the city's heraldry developed. The shield is surmounted by a crown. The circular legend surrounding the shield reads 'MON · NOVA · CIVIT · REVAL' with the numeral '1' and mintmark 'R', identifying this as a new coin of the city of Reval. The legends and devices are consistent with hammered striking on a small, thin flan. |
