| Obverse description | At centre, the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, depicted with wings lowered, serves as the central device within a beaded inner circle. Encircling the eagle along the upper rim is the legend ОДИН РУБЛЬ (One Rouble), while the lower portion of the legend carries the fineness designation Ag 925, the year of issue 2013 г., the fine metal content 7.78, and the Saint Petersburg Mint trademark (СПМД). The inscription БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) appears in a semicircular arrangement beneath the eagle. The overall design follows the standard obverse format established for Russian commemorative silver roubles of this series. |

| Reverse description | The central field depicts a high-relief rendering of the Tupolev Tu-160 strategic bomber in flight, its characteristic variable-sweep delta wings presented in the swept-back position against a matte grey ground representing the globe. Beneath the aircraft, to the right, the aircraft designation ТУ-160 appears in incuse lettering. Along the lower rim, a polished strip bears the colour-enhanced blue inscription ИСТОРИЯ РУССКОЙ АВИАЦИИ (The History of Russian Aviation), framing the composition. The contrast between the relief aircraft and the frosted globe field creates a strong three-dimensional effect characteristic of Russian proof commemorative coinage of this period. |
