| Obverse description | At the centre of the obverse is the State Emblem of the Bank of Russia, depicting a double-headed eagle with wings lowered, set within a beaded circle. The semicircular legend БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) curves beneath the eagle within the inner circle. Along the upper rim outside the beaded border, the denomination legend ОДИН РУБЛЬ (ONE ROUBLE) is inscribed, while the date 2006 appears along the lower rim. To the left of the eagle are the metal designation and fineness marks (Ag 925), and to the right the fine metal content and the mint mark СПМД of the Saint Petersburg Mint. |
