Belarus issued a zodiac series in the mid-2010s targeting the collector market rather than circulation, and this Libra piece is part of that run. Oxidized copper-nickel gives the coins an artificial antiqued appearance straight from the mint — a finish increasingly common in Eastern European commemorative programs of this period.
