| Obverse description | At center, the Russian state emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The eagle is uncrowned, consistent with the Bank of Russia's institutional arms. The Cyrillic legend ОДИН РУБЛЬ (One Rouble) arcs across the upper field, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed along the lower arc within a fine beaded inner border. The fineness designation Ag 900 appears to the lower left and the weight denomination 15.55 to the lower right, with the date 2002Г. displayed prominently at the bottom below the beaded circle.
