| Obverse description | Central copper-nickel disc features a right-facing bust of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud wearing a traditional Saudi gutrah and agal. The portrait is rendered in moderate relief with clean, stylised lines characteristic of contemporary Arabian coinage. The surrounding brass ring is decorated with an intricate arabesque foliate pattern in low relief. The royal title legend in Arabic calligraphy runs along the right side of the ring, reading 'Servant of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud'. |
