Obverse description	The obverse is dominated by intricate traditional Islamic geometric guilloche underprint patterns in green tones, with the national flag of the State of Qatar incorporated into the design. At right, a vignette of the ornate entrance gate of the State Mosque of Qatar in Doha is rendered in fine intaglio line work. Qatari flora (Dreama) and the State Crest complement the composition, with denomination numerals and bilingual Arabic and English inscriptions framing the design.

Reverse description	The reverse presents a central intaglio vignette of a traditional Qatari dhow (Bateel) under full sail on open water, rendered with fine engraved line work in olive-brown tones against a multicolour guilloche background of turquoise and green. To the left, the Oyster and Pearl Monument is visible against a waterfront setting. The right half of the note is occupied by a bold geometric pattern of interlocking diamond and octagonal shapes in turquoise and white, incorporating traditional Islamic latticework motifs and multiple denomination numerals in varied sizes.
