| Reverse description | The reverse features a prominent circular cartouche at center enclosing the denomination inscription in flowing Arabic calligraphy reading 'Riyal Wahid' (One Riyal). Flanking the cartouche to the left is the Western numeral '100' and to the right the Eastern Arabic numeral '١٠٠', with the legend 'Miʾat Halalah' (One Hundred Halalah) arching above in Arabic script. The Hijri year '١٣٩٦' appears in large Eastern Arabic numerals in the lower field, with a small 'هـ' suffix denoting the Hijri era.
