| Obverse description | Draped and armored bust of King Frederick I facing right, with long flowing curly hair falling over the shoulders, dividing the peripheral legend. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque portrait style typical of early 18th-century Swedish coinage. The king's breastplate is elaborately engraved with ornamental detail. The legend encircles the bust along the rim. |
