| Reverse description | The central device displays the crossed sword and sceptre of the Danish royal regalia, surmounted by the Crown of Denmark above the point of intersection. Below the crowned crossed implements, the denomination is expressed as 'R:B:S' (Rigsbankskilling). The date 1852 appears to the left of the central device, while the mintmaster's initials V.S. appear to the right along with the mint mark. The composition is arranged within a plain field, with the design elements distributed in the lower portion of the flan in a balanced, formal arrangement characteristic of Danish copper coinage of the Rigsbankdaler period. |
