| Obverse description | The national emblem of Oman occupies the central field, depicting a khanjar (traditional curved dagger) within its sheath superimposed upon two crossed swords, all rendered in fine relief. The circular legend in Arabic at the top reads 'البنك المركزي العماني سلطنة عمان' (Central Bank of Oman, Sultanate of Oman), with the denomination 'ONE RIAL' and 'واحد ريال' appearing in the lower field in both Latin and Arabic scripts.
