| Obverse description | Central field features a full-color polychrome depiction of the historic Arab dhow 'Jewel of Muscat', rendered with two masts bearing billowing sails in white and ochre-yellow, the wooden hull decorated in red and green tones, set against a deep blue sea. To the upper left, an Arabic calligraphic inscription in white identifies the vessel. Below the ship, in the lower field, the Latin legend '23rd JULY 2010' is inscribed. At upper center, a bilingual date legend appears in both Arabic and Latin scripts reading '٢٣ يوليو ٢٠١٠ م'. To the left of the vessel, the Latin legend 'JEWEL OF MUSCAT' is inscribed in two lines. |
