Obverse description Central device features the national emblem of Oman — two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid by a belt and sword — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. To the left of the emblem appears the denomination legend 'ONE RIAL' in Latin script, while to the right the Arabic equivalent 'ريال واحد' is inscribed. An inner circular border separates the central device from the outer legend zone, which carries the Arabic inscription 'البنك المركزي العُماني / سلطنة عُمان' along the upper arc and 'SULTANATE OF OMAN / CENTRAL BANK OF OMAN' along the lower arc, flanked by two five-pointed stars at the lateral extremities.
