| Obverse description | Central device features the national emblem of Oman — a khanjar dagger superimposed over two crossed swords — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The denomination appears in both Latin script ('ONE RIAL') to the left and Arabic script ('رِيَال وَاحِد') to the right of the emblem. The legend 'SULTANATE OF OMAN' arcs below the central device in Latin script, while 'سَلْطَنَةُ عُمَان' appears in Arabic above. The outer legend 'CENTRAL BANK OF OMAN' curves along the lower rim, and the entire design is framed by a beaded border. |
