Obverse description The national emblem of Oman occupies the central field, depicting a khanjar (traditional curved dagger) in its sheath superimposed upon two crossed swords, all rendered in relief against a polished proof field. The emblem is presented in the traditional heraldic style used on Omani coinage. Surrounding legends and denomination appear in Arabic script.
