Obverse description The obverse displays the royal legend of Fath Ali Shah Qajar rendered in flowing Nastaliq calligraphy across two registers, divided by a horizontal line. The upper register bears the epithet identifying the shah as 'Sultan son of Sultan,' while the lower register carries his full regnal title. The inscription is framed by stylised floral and foliate ornaments, including small rosette clusters dispersed throughout the field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border.
