Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line Nasta'liq calligraphic inscription arranged in flowing curved registers across the field, recording the mint name and regnal year. A prominent inner border of raised dots encircles the design, while scrolling floral arabesques fill the peripheral areas between the legends and the border. The mint name Borujerd (بروجرد) and the hijri date 1233 are clearly legible within the composition. The overall design conforms to the standard Qajar provincial coinage format, emphasising calligraphic artistry over figural imagery. The coin shows the typical irregular flan and variable strike characteristic of hammered provincial issues.
