| Reverse description | The reverse displays a multi-line calligraphic inscription in Nasta'liq script arranged across the coin's field, identifying the mint and the regnal year in the Islamic lunar (AH) calendar. Star-shaped and floral ornamental devices are scattered throughout the field, flanking and interspersed between the letter strokes in a decorative arrangement characteristic of provincial Qajar mint production. A curved banner-like legend arcs across the upper portion of the field. The overall design reflects the artistic conventions of the Rasht (Dar al-Marz) mint during the early reign of Fath Ali Shah. |
