Reverse description Central field bearing a three-line Arabic inscription recording the mint name, Hijri date, and denomination, all enclosed within a wreath of stylized palm or olive branches tied at the base with a decorative floral knot. The uppermost line names the place of striking as Tunis, the middle line gives the Hijri year, and the lower element indicates the denomination of 1 Rial. The wreath is rendered in a flatter, more linear style than the obverse, consistent with late Husainid Tunisian minting conventions. A milled border frames the entire design.
