Obverse description At center, the national emblem of Oman comprising a khanjar (curved dagger) in its sheath superimposed upon two crossed swords, all depicted in fine relief against a polished field. The emblem is surrounded by a circular legend in Arabic and Latin scripts. The upper arc bears the Arabic inscriptions of the Central Bank of Oman and Sultanate of Oman, while the lower arc carries the denomination in both Arabic and English.
