Obverse description Armoured half-length effigy of Emperor Ferdinand I, bearded, facing right, holding a sceptre in his right hand and a sword in his left, rendered in detailed Renaissance style. The portrait is contained within a double beaded circle. The Latin legend encircles the effigy along the outer border.
