Below the numeral, the denomination REICHSMARK appears in Gothic blackletter script. The legend DEUTSCHES REICH curves around the upper portion of the coin in matching script. The partial date 193 appears at the bottom of the field above the beaded border, indicating this is an incomplete or trial strike. The design is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
