| Obverse description | Within an elaborate rope-bordered oval cartouche, the quartered archiepiscopal family arms of Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau are displayed on an ornate shield adorned with scrollwork and foliate ornaments. The three-digit year date is divided by the shield, with numerals appearing to either side in the field. The overall composition is framed by the diamond-shaped klippe flan, with decorative scrollwork filling the spandrels at the upper and lower points of the square. |

| Reverse description | Within a rope-bordered oval cartouche centered on the diamond-shaped klippe flan, the arms of Salzburg are depicted: a quartered shield featuring the rampant lion of the Archbishopric alongside geometric paly divisions, enclosed in an ornate cartouche with scrollwork and foliate embellishments at the corners and points of the flan. Small trefoil or fleur-de-lis ornaments appear in the field at the lateral and lower corners of the klippe. |
