Reverse description Central shield bearing the coat of arms of Aragon, depicting four vertical pale stripes (the four bars of Aragon), surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle, with a partial circular Latin legend running around the periphery of the irregularly shaped flan. The mint mark 'CA' for the Zaragoza mint appears in the lower field. The hammered technique results in a somewhat uneven strike with parts of the legend weakly impressed.
