Reverse description The reverse displays a radiant sun face at center, rendered with alternating straight and wavy rays emanating from a humanized solar disc featuring facial features — eyes, nose, and mouth — in the style of the Sol de Mayo. The legend is distributed around the periphery of the coin. A beaded border runs along the inner rim. The design is characteristic of the Argentine confederate coinage of the early nineteenth century, sharing iconographic elements with the national arms coinage of the Río de la Plata provinces.
