Obverse description Laureate and draped effigy of King Ferdinand VII facing right, rendered in the neoclassical style characteristic of the Catalonian traveling mint issues. The laureate wreath is clearly delineated about the monarch's head, with the drapery visible at the truncation of the bust. The encircling legend is interrupted at the base by the date 1811, flanked by decorative stops. The toothed border runs along the entire periphery of the coin.
