Reverse description Bold ornate cross pattée occupying the central field, with castles and lions alternately displayed in the four angles formed by the cross arms, all within a beaded inner circle. The partial legend HISPANIARUM REX runs around the outer border in Latin characters. The design follows the standard cob coinage format of the early 18th-century Spanish colonial and peninsular mints, with characteristically irregular strike and partial legend visibility.
