Reverse description The quartered royal arms of Aragon displayed within a lozenge-shaped cartouche, set inside a beaded inner circle. The shield quarters show the characteristic pale stripes of Aragon and the castle and lion motifs, rendered in the rough style typical of hammered Majorcan reales of this period. A Latin circumscription runs between the beaded circle and the coin's irregular outer edge.
