Obverse description Central crowned quartered shield of the Spanish Royal Arms displaying the castles of Castile, the lions of León, the chains of Navarre, and the fleurs-de-lis of the Anjou dynasty, surmounted by an ornate royal crown. The mint mark 'B' (Burgos) and assayer initial appear to the left of the shield.
