Reverse description Reverse of the quarter-cut Bolivian 4 Soles host coin, showing a wedge-shaped flan with remnants of the original Bolivian design elements surviving in the field. A partial arc of the original host coin legend is legible along the curved outer edge, reading '.REPUBI **', being the truncated remains of the Bolivian republican inscription. The cut surfaces are rough and irregular, consistent with hand-cut emergency monetary practice, while the curved edge retains traces of the original milled border.
