| Obverse description | Central field displays a stylized geometric or architectural motif rendered in relief, characteristic of Almoravid-period Andalusian fractional coinage. Arabic inscription appears in the upper register within a linear frame, with additional decorative elements flanking the central device. The die-work is bold but irregular, consistent with the hammered technique typical of taifa-era quirats. The flan is slightly irregular and shows natural surface variations inherent to the striking method. |
