| Obverse description | At right, an intaglio portrait of General José María Orellana in military uniform, his name inscribed below in small capitals. The left field carries a vignette of the resplendent quetzal bird in flight above a small Mayan figure, flanking a central guilloche numeral '1' with a multicolour rosette underprint. Three manuscript signatures of the Gerente, Presidente, and Jefe de la Contraloria de Cuentas appear across the lower centre, with the authorization date printed vertically along the right margin. |
