Reverse description The reverse presents a standing full-length figure of Saint Peter, robed and depicted frontally at center, holding a papal key or scepter in one hand, rendered in the summary style typical of hammered billon quattrini of the period. The saint stands on a ground line with abbreviated drapery folds indicated by shallow relief. A partial Latin legend reading SANT PETRVS runs around the periphery of the coin, partially legible due to the irregularity of the hand-struck planchet and general wear. The field is flat and unadorned, the overall composition conforming to the devotional iconographic conventions of Gonzaga ecclesiastical patronage coinage.
