| Obverse description | Large papal arms of Pope Pius VI displayed on a rectangular shield, surmounted by the papal tiara with crossed keys below, all set within a smooth field. The shield bears the Braschi family coat of arms, featuring six fleurs-de-lis in the upper portion and a flowering lily branch in the lower portion. Flanking the shield are elaborate Baroque scrollwork cartouches. The circular legend reads ·PIVS·VI· PONT·M, separated by pellets, within a beaded inner border. |
