| Obverse description | Bare bust of Delfino Tizzone facing left, rendered in low relief in the hammered style characteristic of late sixteenth-century Italian minor coinage. The effigy occupies the central field, with the neck and truncation visible at the lower portion. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, abbreviated as DEL TI CO DE VI PER IMP I, identifying the issuer as Count of Desana and Imperial Vicar. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of hand-struck billon production. |
