| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, a lion rampant to the left clutching a quince branch, the heraldic emblem of the Sforza lords of Pesaro. A crowned shield or decorative crown element appears above the central device. The surrounding field carries the Latin legend CONSTANTIVS SFP, identifying the issuing authority as Costanzo Sforza, rendered in Gothic lettering typical of late 15th-century Italian civic coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded outer border. |
