| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Ferdinand VII facing left, rendered in low relief in a somewhat provincial style characteristic of the Manila Mint's early coinage. The portrait is centrally positioned within the field, with the truncation of the bust visible at the bottom. A continuous circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading from the lower left and separated by pellets.
