Obverse description Central field displays the monogram or abbreviation COCO (for Cocconato) within a beaded inner circle, flanked above and below by six-pointed stars. The surrounding legend COM RADICATE COCO COCO runs along the outer margin, partially obscured by the irregular flan edge. The overall design is characteristic of late sixteenth-century Italian feudal billon coinage, struck by hammer on an irregular planchet with a granular border.

Reverse description Central field features a cross pattée or heraldic cross dividing the field into four quarters, each containing armorial charges consistent with the Radicati family arms. Two concentric circles frame the central design, with the devotional legend IN DEO VIRTVS P 1581 T R distributed around the outer margin. The date 1581 is incorporated within the legend. The flan is irregular with chipped edges, typical of hammered feudal coinage of the period.
