Obverse description Conjoined busts of the regent Marie Jeanne Baptiste of Savoy-Nemours and the young Duke Victor Amadeus II facing right, the duchess veiled and draped, the duke in armored and lace-trimmed attire. The effigies are rendered in high relief in the Baroque style, with the duchess slightly behind and overlapping the duke. A toothed border frames the design, and the Latin titular legend encircles the pair around the full periphery of the coin.
