Obverse description Left-facing draped bust of Pope Innocent XII wearing a camauro and embroidered papal vestments, rendered in high relief with fine portraiture detail characteristic of late Baroque engraving. The cope is ornamented with a cross motif at center. The circumferential legend reads INNOCEN · XII · PONT · M · A · IIII · P · P, denoting his pontifical title and regnal year, with the engraver's signature BORNER · F · appearing at the base of the bust near the lower rim. The field is smooth and the design fills the flan with considerable artistic authority.
