Reverse description An elaborate Baroque allegorical composition depicting the standing figure of Piety at left, draped in long robes and gesturing toward a flaming altar at center, upon which a fire burns and rises in a column of smoke. At the right, a crouching winged figure of Discord, semi-nude and armed with a sword and torch, recoils and is driven back from the altar. The altar pedestal bears the inscription DEO EXERCITVVM in four lines. The date AN. 1706 appears in the exergue below, flanked by a papal tiara and keys. The circular legend ORATIONE ET IEIVINIO runs along the upper periphery within a toothed border.
