Obverse description A spoked wheel depicted in the center of the field, enclosed within a raised circular border. The wheel, serving as the principal type, features four spokes radiating from a central hub, rendered in a schematic, archaic Etruscan style. Three pellets, denoting the quadrans value mark, are distributed in the field around the wheel. The casting is irregular, consistent with Etruscan aes grave production of the mid-third century BC.
