| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Persian royal legend in bold nasta'liq script, reading the royal titulature of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. The inscription is contained within an inner circular border of fine dots, with a plain outer rim. The calligraphy is struck in high relief against a flat field, characteristic of Qajar hammered coinage. No pictorial effigy is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic tradition of the period. |
