| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Naser al-Din Shah wearing the jewelled Qajar crown, set within an open wreath of olive branches at the base of the field. Two cartouches flank the portrait: the right cartouche bears the royal title and the left bears additional inscriptions in Nastaliq script. The composition is characteristic of early Qajar portraiture, rendered in low relief with fine detailing on the royal regalia. |
